Early in the morning, I took a bus to Taipei train station (臺北火車站) to meet my friend. My friend and I were heading to Sun Moon Lake (日月潭). From Taipei train station, we took a train to Taichun (臺中), then took a bus to Sun Moon Lake.
Sun Moon Lake is the largest body of freshwater in Taiwan. At an altitude of 762m, the lake is famous for its clear, sparkling blue water, and is backed by high-forested mountains.
Sun Moon Lake is a traditional spot for newlywed couples to take their honeymoon.
Sun Moon Lake has many must see places such as Wenwu Temple (文武廟), Ita Thao (伊達邵), Guanghua Island (光華島)，etc.
Today, we spent most of our time at Ito Thao. At Ito Thao, we walked the trail, the market place, and the port.
