Road Trip - Crescent City 08-15-2013



Where can you find giant trees which are more than 1000 years old and grow to over 300 feet tall?  The answer is Redwood National Park.

Redwood National Park is located in Crescent City, California.  Crescent City is about 20 miles from Oregon border and 90 miles south west of Grants Pass, Oregon with population of 7,643.

Redwood National Park comprises a region of coastal mountains and the Pacific Ocean, and has the tallest and most impressive trees in the world.

Redwood National Park also has amazing marine and land life, in particular the sea lions, the bald eagle, and the endangered California brown pelican.
