Taiwan - Lugaung 2015-11-08

My cousin took me to the Wufeng Lin Family Gardens (霧峰林家花園) in Wufeng District, Taichung, Taiwan.

When we arrived the Garden, the person at the ticket counter told us that we just missed the guided tour, and we could not get in until 1:00 pm.  Instead of waiting, we decided to go to Lugang (鹿港).

Lugang is located in Changhua County (章化), and is the one of greatest historical towns in Taiwan with at least a 350 year history. Lugang has many historical buildings with Baroque-styled ( 巴洛克式建築).

Wine Bottle Wall(甕牆) - unique wall decorations are the giant wine pottery bottles.  Unfortunately, most of the wine bottle wall was damaged during the 921 Earthquake.

Longshan Temple(龍山寺) - was established during late Ming Dynasty about 300 years old now. It is the National Monument in Taiwan.

Old Market Street (鹿港老街) - lots of historical houses have been preserved and being used as the stores and shopping area for the visitors.
