The hotel that I stayed in Taichung is next to Green River (綠川). The Green River is a tributary of the Dadu River (大肚溪) in Taichung City, Taiwan. There are many kinds of birds including herons. Walking along the Green River, I heard many different birds' calls.
Taichung Metropolitan Park is a 217 acres park. The park is at the top of the hill, at more than 300 meters above sea level.
There are many artefacts scattered throughout the park. Beside walking, biking, and relaxing, there are wide spaces available for kite flying .
