Taiwan—Tainan 2016-10-05

It is another hot day in Tainan.  Morning, I went to Ten Drum Cultural Villege (十鼓文化村) with a new friend.

We took train to a small town called Baoan (保安). Baoan train station is a cute Japanese-era train station. Baoan train station is a wooden structure train station and is one of handful wooden structure train stations left in Taiwan.

The Ten Drum Cultural Villege is located in the suburbs of Tainan, former Rende Sugar Refiner (製糖場), and it is the 1st drum-themed international art village in Asia.

The villege has five drum areas : an introduction hall, drum museum, drumming experience room, Ten Drum restaurant, mini theatre, and water tank theatre.

We watched a wondrful Ten Drum show.  unfortunately, picture was not allowed. However, most interesting thing is we attended a drum class to know how to drum.
